Finding Disaster Recovery Tools – Adobe falls short

Adobe is not a good source for Disaster Recovery tool development

Janco has just updated it Threat Vulnerability Assessment tool as it updates it Disaster Recovery Template.  In the process we thought that we would like to try out a cloud based solution that Adobe has for forms.

Disappointed does not tell you how Adobe has missed the boat with Risk AssessmentAdobe Forms Central.  They do NOT support any iOS devices.  That is bad from two sides, first that means that if we chose to use Adobe for electronic forms then we can not leverage the base of our users who have iPhones and iPads.  Second how could a company that historically was so close to Apple and their computers just “walk away” from that market?

That aside, our new Threat Vulnerability Assessment Now Comes with Electronic Forms and Adobe Forms Central Design Files to easy modification, distribution, and management of the process.

We will see how this works for us.  If we have many complaints we will go back to Microsoft’s Word and Excel products for any future updates.
